The Dansville Aggies 8th grade volleyball team brought energy and resilience to the court in their match against the Lansing Christian Pilgrims, claiming victory in three out of four sets. Game 1 kicked off with a bang, thanks to Sabrina Hamel’s commanding eight-point serving streak, including two aces. Her consistency helped the Aggies build early momentum and secure the first set with confidence. Game 2 was a rollercoaster. Paisley Shirley sparked the Aggies with a five-point serving run that gave them a solid lead. But Lansing Christian’s #8 answered back with a serving streak of her own, flipping the score and putting the Pilgrims up by one. The final points were a tense back-and-forth, but the Aggies stayed composed and battled through to take the set. In Game 3, Esmee Ewing stepped up with a seven-point serving streak and one ace, helping the Aggies maintain control. At the net, Natalie Collins and Dilletta McGivern were relentless in the middle, challenging the Pilgrims’ hitters and keeping rallies alive with tough blocks and smart positioning. The Aggies played with heart, hustle, and unity from start to finish—living out their team motto: Work hard. Be kind. Play tough.
